Children may ride bikes to school, and bike racks are provided.
Parents must ensure that children wear safety-approved helmets.
For safety reasons,bikes are not permitted to be ridden on the school grounds before 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The Police Education Officer recommends that children under 9 years do not bike to school because of dangers on the open road and because children below that age do not have the maturity to make safe judgments .
