SCHOOL UNIFORM
All students are expected to wear the school. This uniform is available from the school office for your convenience.
This is our uniform guideline:
GUIDELINE STATEMENT: SCHOOL UNIFORM
Rationale:
- The Board of Trustees strongly support the wearing of the school uniform.
- The school uniform will give the children a sense of belonging and provide a unifying and equitable standard of dress so students can learn comfortably.
Purpose:
- To give pupils a sense of belonging.
- To eliminate competition.
- To ensure that clothing is safe for the usual range of school activities.
- To give families reasonably priced school wear.
Guidelines:
On enrolment parents are asked to give an undertaking that they will abide by the school policies. Parents will be given a brochure noting uniform requirements.
On the part of the school we will ensure that:
- The cost of uniforms are kept as cheap as possible.
- The dress code, which can be revised at any time, will set out specific uniform codes for boys and girl sand is attached to this policy.
- Second hand uniforms are available.
Articles of Clothing unacceptable for school wear: Jandals, jeans, tight skirts, all jewellery, except studs and watches, and other clothing deemed unsafe or offensive.
Conclusion:
These guidelines will help achieve our aim to improve self-esteem of our students. It is expected that all students in our school will wear this uniform.
