Representative Apparel
1999 saw a change to the Representative Apparel that ALL pupils must wear when representing West Melton School e.g. Sporting Events, Choir, School Trips etc.
This apparel consists of a navy blue and gold polo top and navy blue shorts. We encourage parents to purchase the apparel or alternatively these can be borrowed at a cost of $5 for the day and must be returned the same day. It is important our image of West Melton School is positive and attractive.
School Tracksuits
In 2000 we received a Pub Charities Donation, which enabled the school to purchase a full set of very attractive tracksuits which children are able to borrow at no cost when representing the school.
School Sun Hats
In Terms 1 & 4 it is compulsory that all pupils wear our school sunhat whenever they are outside i.e. morning tea, lunch and other activities. These can be purchased from the school office at a cost of $10. Children without hats will have to play out of the sun in designated areas (no hat, no play in the sun).
The Student Executive are reviewing the viability of bucket hats for senior students.
