Learning Areas
Our West Melton School Curriculum incorporates all learning areas in The New Zealand Curriculum. We pride ourselves on offering a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of each child and challenges them to achieve to their best. A large amount of learning time is focussed on the key learning areas of literacy and maths. Throughout the year students are also offered learning experiences that incorporate Science, Social Studies, Technology, The Arts, Te Reo Maori, Languages and Health & PE. Currently we are re-developing our school curriculum to reflect our unique community, and the work that has been undertaken as part of the newly introduced West Melton Learning Landscape.
